Jesus’ mandate in John 13:34-35, is to love one another…especially the poor. A loveless Christian is an oxymoron. A merciless Christian is a non sequitur. A Christian who does not serve the poor represents a total biblical contradiction.

I am a blessed man! My family is the living reality of ethnically diverse children loving, learning and playing together. They bring the future hope for a society built by better minds where racial hatred is unheard of and the prayer of Jesus that God’s will would be done “on earth as it is in heaven” is a reality. It would be a world that celebrates diversity, one where Thomas Jefferson’s words from the U.S.
