Lenten Season Call to Prayer

I want to thank you for joining me in the first week of praying for the needs of our Church and the direction the Lord is calling us.  I humbly ask you to continue with me in this season of prayer and as we prepare for Lent and perhaps a time of fasting. 

I wanted to share with you a little about how God has met me during prayer. This morning I decided to spend an entire hour just in His presence with no agenda but to be with Him. And because my usual prayer life is consumed with my demands and requests, it was refreshing to simply sit and be with God. I want to encourage you, as you become still before the Lord to rest in His deep love and to recognize His long suffering patience with you (us). 

We are a blessed in so many ways. One of the greatest of those blessings is that we have each other.  I am thankful to be your Pastor and look forward with excitement to what the Lord will do in and through us, His children for His Kingdom.
