Lenten Season Call to Prayer entry three

Another week of prayer has encouraged me to stay on my knees at the throne of our dear Lord.  To say, “Jesus, have mercy on me a sinner,” has refreshed my self-centered soul.  I can ask…. “Father, anything is possible in you. Take away this trial. And because I can trust you, not my will but yours be done!”  To not pray is foolish and unacceptable and to be demanding is not good asking either.  As you read the Word of God this Lenten season allow Him to give you the words to pray.  Quietly listen to the Lord and by His Spirit hear His Words, The Word.  We can be bold in sharing the Gospel because He is bold in sharing it with us.

As you labor for the Church and our direction, make the Gospel central to your thoughts, words and deeds.  His charms are countless and He has focused them on you.  We don’t know how much time we have; let’s spend it living and loving in Jesus!
