1955: A Tribute To Rosa Parks

On December 1, 1955 Rosa Parks made a courageous decision that changed the world...today is the 55th anniversary of that historic day. Mrs. Parks did far more than make a firm decision to remain seated; she set in motion an entire movement, garnering her the title, "Mother" of the Civil Rights Movement. Mrs. Parks was a remarkable women whose actions helped to bring a divided nation closer together.
