Last night I watched the John Stewart show and a film maker was on talking about the 'Incarceration' problem we have in the US nearly 3 Million in prison, jail, parole and probation. There is a film coming out that will frame the issue better than I have been able to (see my blogs encouraging you to read Michelle Alexander"s book, The New Jim Crow). So, please lets look into that film and see what we can do to change the current process of jailing addicted people rather than finding ways to recover them (Mt. C25 and caring for the prisoner as one of the least of these). Especially as the Church looks for avenues to be more relevant and impacting in our culture. The 21st Drug Court [2] is a great way to join the answer please give liberally to that great organization.
